My recent long-term healthcare consulting contract with HealthEast as the Director of Marketing and Creative Services, Interim was an opportunity for me to provide strategic consulting for marketing, marketing communications, UX, and design. I worked with staff across departments to bring brand initiatives to fruition, create better processes in the organization and hire key staff that would bring important strategies to life.
My healthcare consulting gig can be broken into three primary areas of focus:
- Brand strategy
- Creative Direction
- Organizational Development
Each of these areas included both strategic healthcare consulting and tactical work, including integrating best practices for in-house creative teams, roles and processes, auditing and developing technical infrastructure plans, talent acquisition for key roles, launching new services (video!), digital marketing foundations, internal brand engagement, and creative strategy, UX and design for key projects.
Working with the Strategy, Brand and Marketing teams and with others across the organization was a wonderful opportunity and being immersed in customer-focused healthcare was eye-opening. I admire the work being done at HealthEast and it was an honor to be a part of the SBM teams.
