ANHI.org, a comprehensive online platform offering training and education resources for health care providers, underwent a significant redesign and replatforming. This project prioritized improving the user experience for their vast collection of courses, podcasts, videos, events, and other materials. Our contributions encompassed user experience strategy, information architecture, component and UI design, and the creation of a comprehensive design system.

Problem

As ANHI.org expanded to meet the increasing need for online training materials, its original website architecture and structure struggled to keep pace. The adoption of new teaching methods also highlighted the need for updated content models and UI components. This replatforming to AEM Cloud provided a crucial opportunity to address these issues by creating a dedicated design system for ANHI and improving existing components. The project’s tight deadline and concurrent work paths demanded a flexible and adaptable workflow.

Solution

UX Strategy
UI Component Design
Content Creation

As a lead UX/UI designer on the Cimarron Winter team, I was responsible for UX design, the creation and implementation of ANHI.org’s design system, AEM UI component design, and asset creation. This included leading the development of ANHI.org’s adaptation of the Abbott Design System, defining its foundational elements like color, typography, and grid. I also enhanced the user interface (UI) design of the necessary AEM components. Simultaneously, I was one of two designers who rapidly prototyped numerous website pages, which then served as templates for all dynamically generated educational content. Despite an accelerated timeline and evolving budget, our team successfully delivered on the UX strategy, UI design, page prototypes, and asset creation required for the replatforming and migration, meeting the client’s expectations.
