When Chris LaVictoire Mahai, President of Aveus, wanted to launch her latest book, Bold, she contacted Smart Hive to craft the design of the book and website. Bold is a book about “leaders in existing organizations – leaders who can see well beyond their current business and who have the will and willingness to invest in and relish the transformational challenge to win.” We designed a simple but striking cover and clean, focused interior page design for the book, which embrace the traits of successful leaders of transformational change. These set the design tone for the book launch materials.

We then worked with the marketing team to created the design elements for Bold’s website, aveusbold.com. The design system evokes the layers and inputs that all bold leaders understand and maximize to be successful.
