Before I left my position as Creative Director I looked at how many meetings I was in every week. My schedule reflected the number of scheduled, formal meetings I had whether that was with colleagues or clients and I became increasingly difficult to get in front of. To get a better picture of what my weeks were like I created a simple visualization to show the midpoint cresting of my meetings, the welcome quiet of Mondays and why it was so hard to get me in a meeting.
Of course, it didn’t reflect the unscheduled, casual conversations, touch bases and hallway meetings I had. Alas, that is the nature of the data, which only shows what we gather.
